On Sešate, Tshepang Ramoba’s at it again with his alternative spiritual paeans. The funky drummer's music is layered and relaxed, suitable for an artist that’s not in a rush to reach anywhere fast. Opener "Nonyana" is a fitting tribute to his BLK JKS´s past. "Bua mmantsho, bua moshoeu", he sings atop a drum line that brings road-trip memories home. He maintains a folksy, upbeat groove on “Mapula" as he sings, "Mapula o hlapela ntlwaneng/O hlapa ka sepepa se sehwibidu.” "Kgoši" maintains this EP’s guitar-friendly feel, while "Baesekela" starts off on a space odyssey before unfolding into a sweet rural love story.
